LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Monday invited Chinese businessmen to invest in Punjab and assured that her government will make all efforts to facilitate their business.
Speaking at the Punjab Business Conference in Guangzhou, China, he lauded the hospitality of the Chinese leaders and called it extraordinary. He also highlighted the decades of strong ties between the two countries.
The CM praised the political wisdom and outstanding economic performance of Chinese leaders and urged developing countries to learn from their model.
He said he had held discussions with Chinese leaders on various topics including artificial intelligence, agriculture and IT.
Maryam Nawaz said that foreign investment in Punjab will be fully supported and the Punjab Business Council will play an important role in promoting relations between the two countries.
He invited Chinese investors and businessmen to explore the vast investment opportunities in Punjab and assured them a favorable and supportive environment.
