Q: Can you start by telling us a bit about your background?
Ans: My journey began in 2007 when I joined the International Islamic University as a gardener. At that time, I had only completed middle school. Seeing educated individuals around me inspired me to pursue further education. I realized that with education, I could aspire to hold a better position. Tired of working under the sun, I decided to start my education again with Allah’s help. I completed my matriculation from Rawalpindi Board, then did my intermediate from Allama Iqbal Open University, and graduated with a BA from the same university. Later, I pursued an MSc in Media Communication Studies from the International Islamic University Islamabad, and recently, I completed my MPhil in the same field.
Q: How did you manage to complete your ninth grade?
Ans: I completed it privately through the Rawalpindi Board in one year. After that completed my FA from Allama Iqbal Open University and then my BA from the same institution. After my graduation I pursued an MSc in Media Communication Studies at the International Islamic University Islamabad with regular admission.
Q: How did you balance working and attending regular classes?
Ans: I continued working as a gardener at the same university, which allowed me to receive free education. I attended regular MSc classes while working and also took on part-time jobs to support my family, working up to 18 hours a day.
Q: After completing your MSc, did you decide to pursue an MPhil?
Ans: Yes, I felt that if I had completed my MSc, I should also pursue an MPhil. I recently completed my MPhil in Media Communication Studies.
Q: What is your current role at the International Islamic University?
Ans: I work as a Dealing Assistant in the exam branch, currently at BPS 09.
Q: That is a significant achievement. Do you plan to stop here?
Ans: No, I have recently applied for a PhD in Media Communication Studies. I am confident that with hard work and Allah’s assistance, I will achieve my goal of becoming a doctor in this field.
Ans: Do you plan to continue in this field or pursue other career opportunities, such as working with major TV channels?
Ans: Yes, I aspire to work with a prominent TV channel in a significant position.
