World No. 43 Noor Zaman claimed the title at the CAS–Serena Hotels International Squash Championship 2025, defeating fellow Pakistani player Muhammad Hamza Khan in a five-game final at Islamabad’s Mushaf Squash Complex on Friday.
International Players Participate in Islamabad Tournament
The Pakistan Squash Federation, in collaboration with Serena Hotels, organized the championship from 24–28 November 2025. A total of 24 players, including 17 international competitors from the Czech Republic, Egypt, Hong Kong China, Japan, Malaysia, and Switzerland, took part in the event alongside seven Pakistani athletes.
Serena Hotels, under its Sports Diplomacy Initiative, continues to promote athletic excellence and global engagement, positioning Pakistan as a destination for world-class sporting events.
All-Pakistan Final Caps Tournament
The final match featured Pakistan’s World No. 101 Muhammad Hamza Khan facing World No. 43 Noor Zaman. The competitive five-game contest concluded with Noor Zaman securing victory with scores of 9-11, 7-11, 11-7, 11-4 and 11-8.
The championship closed with a formal ceremony attended by players, officials, and supporters.
Senior Leadership Attends Closing Ceremony
Air Marshal Kazim Hammad, President of the Pakistan Squash Federation, graced the closing ceremony as Chief Guest and presented trophies and souvenirs to the finalists. Air Vice Marshal Sohail Akbar, Senior Vice President PSF; Serena Hotels COO Fahim Inam; squash legend Qamar Zaman; VP PSF Dr. Riaz Khan; President Sindh SA Adnan Asad; and other dignitaries were also in attendance.
