Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday expressed hope for a successful partnership with a delegation of Saudi Arabian businessmen expected to visit Pakistan in the coming days.
Chairing a high-level meeting to review the progress of investments and projects in Saudi Arabia, the Prime Minister ordered the relevant leaders to extend warm hospitality to the delegation.
The participants were informed about the upcoming visits of Saudi businessmen and the expected investments in various sectors.
The Prime Minister thanked the Saudi leadership for promoting investment in Pakistan and taking measures for the development and prosperity of the country.
Prime Minister Shehbaz, who is on a visit to Saudi Arabia, thanked the concerned ministers and officials for their preparations.
He told the participants that Saudi leaders support the prosperity of Pakistan.
Pointing to decades of friendly bilateral relations with Saudi Arabia, he said Pakistan was lucky to have such a good friend as the Kingdom.
Prime Minister Shehbaz said in the meeting that Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman want to encourage investment in Pakistan.
Federal Minister Jam Kamal Khan, Muhammad Aurangzeb, Ahad Khan Chema, Attaullah Tarar, Rana Tanwar Hussain, Dr. Musaddiq Malik, Abdul Aleem Khan and Sardar Awais Khan Leghari, Minister of State Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Vice Chairman Planning Tariq Fatemi Commission for Meeting Jahanzeb Khan, Prime Minister -Coordinator Minister Rana Ehsan Afzal, SIFC National Coordinator Lt. General Sarfaraz and relevant senior officials were present.
