The City School Southern Region hosted the Long Service Awards 2025, a distinguished ceremony honouringthe unwavering loyalty, dedication, and excellence of employees who have played a pivotal role in the institution’s growth and lasting success.

The event began with an inspiring opening address by Mr Omer Zubair, Director Operations, who acknowledged the enduring efforts of employees in shaping The City School’s legacy. He stated that every milestone achieved by the institution is a testament to the relentless hard work, passion, and consistency of its people.

Chief Guest’s Heartfelt Tribute

Serving as the Chief Guest, Mr Jehangir Feroz, Member of the Board of Directors, delivered an eloquent and heartfelt speech. He praised the long-serving employees for their invaluable contributions, remarking that “The true strength of The City School lies not merely in its name or infrastructure, but in the people who breathe life into it every single day.” Mr Feroz further lauded their professionalism and commitment, describing them as “the ambassadors of The City School’s values and vision.”

The event was attended by several distinguished educationists and guests, including Mr Arshad Hussain (Managing Director, Oxford University Press), Mr Shahid Ashraf (Deputy Director, Cambridge Sindh & Balochistan), Ms Salma Adil (Sales Director, Oxford University Press), Ms Shazia Asad (Senior Project Manager, Oxford University Press), Ms Khushbaqt Shujaat (Former Member of the Senate of Pakistan), and Dr Sarosh Lodhi (Ex-Vice Chancellor, NED University). Their presence reflected the strong academic alliances The City School continues to uphold.
