SWAT: A high-level meeting of district police chiefs was held at Saidu Sharif under the leadership of Regional Police Officer (RPO) Malakand Division Muhammad Ali Khan in Swed district.
DPO Swat Dr Zahidullah Khan, DPO Boner Shah Hasan Khan, DPO Shangla Imran Khan, SP Investigation and Circle DSPs attended this meeting.
RPO Malakand directed the concerned officials to make all efforts to solve all the pending cases at the earliest and conduct a comprehensive investigation. He directed police officers to increase surprise arrests, raids, intelligence-based search operations and police patrols to prevent crime, and ordered a comprehensive crackdown on drug traffickers, especially ice traffickers.
He said, the series of security inspections of educational institutions and government buildings that are important and sensitive should be continued to avoid any unwanted incidents.
He further said that the Dispute Resolution Committees (DRCs) should be made more active as it is the Jirga system and the best way to give immediate justice to the poor and the downtrodden.
The RPO directed the district police officers to conduct necessary courses for the upgradation of police officers and ensure timely delivery of the courses so that the development of the units is not hampered.
The assembly also decided to take action against those who use warning lights illegally. “
The RPO also said that the families of the martyred police officers should pay special attention and be aware of the problems they are facing and take steps to resolve them.
Addressing the police officers, RPO Muhammad Ali Khan said that they should take care of the self-respect of the people by working as a team with determination, honesty and integrity and said that the police should play an important role in prevention. eliminate crime and social problems and maintain close ties with local elders in this regard,” he said.
At the meeting, it was decided to take comprehensive action against drug dealers and make them criminals.
