A deeply disturbing child molestation case has emerged from Daro town in Sujawal district, prompting SSP Sujawal Dr. Khalique Pirzada to order a comprehensive investigation. The alleged incident, reported Wednesday evening, involves a teacher accused of sexually assaulting an orphaned eighth-grade student at his guesthouse. The 13-year-old victim, whose parents passed away some years ago and who is currently under the care of his paternal family, bravely came forward during a media interaction to reveal the horrifying ordeal. He claims his teacher, identified as Siddique Memon, lured him to his guesthouse, locally known as an “Otaque,” under the false pretense of providing him with new clothes for the upcoming Eid celebrations.”Instead of giving me clothes, the suspect locked me in a room where he subjected the teenager to sexual molestation and also filmed the act,” the young victim recounted, his words sending a chill through the community.
He further alleged that Memon issued chilling death threats, warning him against disclosing the incident to his relatives. The revelation of this egregious act has sent shockwaves throughout Sujawal district, igniting widespread anger and concern.Adding a complex layer to the unfolding drama, the alleged suspect, Siddique Memon, has since approached local reporters to vehemently proclaim his innocence. He has publicly dismissed the accusations as a “political maneuver” orchestrated by his opponents. However, the case has taken a troubling turn due to Memon’s known association with the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). He reportedly holds an office-bearer position within the PPP Daro town chapter. This connection has led to allegations of political influence and interference in the investigation. Reports indicate that a former MNA of the PPP and a current PPP member of the Sujawal district council are allegedly backing Memon. The victim’s distraught relatives have openly accused district officials affiliated with the PPP of issuing threats of “dire consequences,” a claim that further amplifies concerns about the impartiality of the probe.Sujawal police officials have affirmed their commitment to a thorough investigation. They have stated that should any “derogatory or incriminating video” related to the incident be discovered, the assistance of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) would be promptly sought to ensure a robust and independent inquiry into the case. @+92 333 5758174
