ISLAMABAD,: The administration is moving to encourage foreign direct investment (FDI) in Pakistan, according to President Dr. Arif Alvi.
Speaking at Aiwan-e-Sadr to a German delegation of the global food wholesaler METRO Group, which was headed by CEO Dr. Steffen Greubel, the president stated that Pakistan was a desirable location for foreign business and investment.The METRO Group was also thanked by the president for their investment in Pakistan.
The president was briefed by the team about the METRO Group’s operations and investments in Pakistan.The delegation stated that the METRO Company aimed to increase its business operations in Pakistan, taking into consideration the favorable conditions for foreign investment in the nation.
Furthermore, the team believed that Pakistan was a desirable location for investment and business.
