8 dead after boat capsizes in southwest China

GUIYANG: Eight humans are confirmed to have died after a ship capsized in southwest China’s Guizhou Province, neighborhood government stated. The incident took place at around nine:30 a.M. Monday at the Pingzheng River in Congjiang County — with thirteen human beings aboard the vessel. Five survivors had been rescued and are mentioned to be in strong circumstance. The capsized vessel has been identified as a privately-operated boat. Further research is underway.
