MARDAN: Appointment orders were distributed to 76 children of police martyrs who have been inducted as Police Assistant Sub-Inspectors (PASIs) in the Mardan Region, in recognition of the sacrifices made by their parents in the line of duty.
A ceremony was held at the Regional Police Office Mardan, where Regional Police Officer Qasim Ali Khan handed over appointment orders to the newly appointed PASIs. District Police Officers from across the region and other senior police officials attended the event.
RPO Congratulates Newly Appointed PASIs
Addressing the ceremony, RPO Qasim Ali Khan congratulated the appointees and described their induction into the police force as an honour and a tribute to the sacrifices of their martyred parents.
He said police martyrs who sacrificed their lives for public protection and restoration of peace would always be remembered. He added that supporting and looking after the families of police martyrs remained an important responsibility of the police department.
PASIs Urged to Uphold Their Parents’ Legacy
The RPO urged the newly appointed PASIs to uphold the legacy of their parents by performing their duties with integrity, discipline, professionalism, courage and dedication to public service.
He said their induction into the police force represents a continuation of the mission and legacy of their martyred parents and serves as a source of pride for the entire police force.
