UPPER DIR: A total of 46 new constables, including two lady constables, have been inducted into the Dir Upper Police following the completion of a recruitment process conducted on merit and under transparent procedures.
Appointment letters were distributed to the newly recruited personnel during a ceremony attended by police officials.
According to police authorities, the recruitment drive was carried out in line with the vision of Zulfiqar Hamid and Syed Fida Hassan Shah to strengthen the police force and provide employment opportunities to local youth.
Officials stated that all candidates were selected through a transparent process based solely on merit.
DPO urges professionalism and public service
Addressing the newly recruited personnel, Aslam Nawaz congratulated them on joining the force and reminded them of the responsibilities associated with police service.
He said the police play a vital role in protecting life and property, maintaining law and order, and ensuring peace within society. He also paid tribute to the sacrifices made by police personnel in the line of duty.
The DPO urged the recruits to perform their duties with honesty, dedication, professionalism, and patriotism while upholding the traditions of the police force and its martyrs.

Aslam Nawaz instructed the new constables to maintain respectful and professional conduct when dealing with the public and to remain committed to serving the community.
He expressed confidence that the recruits would contribute to improving the performance of Dir Upper Police and help strengthen public trust in the department through their hard work and dedication.
