A graduation ceremony was held in Swat under the Bano Qabil programme, an initiative of Alkhidmat Foundation, in which 401 young individuals, including a significant number of women, were awarded certificates after successfully completing courses in digital marketing, e-commerce, and graphic design. The programme aims to empower youth—particularly women—by equipping them with marketable digital skills, enabling them to earn a dignified livelihood from home. Many of the trained participants, especially young women, have already begun contributing to their family income through online freelance platforms. The event was attended by senior leadership of Jamaat-e-Islami and Alkhidmat Foundation.
The chief guest was former provincial minister and Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Khyber Pakhtunkhwa North, Inayatullah Khan. Other notable attendees included Alkhidmat KP President Fazal Mehmood, Jamaat-e-Islami Swat Ameer Hamidul Haq, and Alkhidmat Swat President Ziaullah Khan, among others. Speaking on the occasion, Inayatullah Khan stated that “Bano Qabil”is part of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan’s vision, under the leadership of Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, to equip youth with practical skills. So far, 10,000 youth in KP and 1,200 in Malakand Division have been trained.
In Swat alone, 401 students have completed their courses and are now earning respectable incomes while continuing their education.
He emphasized that Jamaat-e-Islami is not limited to slogans or rhetoric, but is taking concrete steps to ensure the empowerment, skill development, and self-reliance of the country’s youth. “Our aim is to create opportunities at home so our youth don’t feel compelled to seek employment abroad,” he added. He revealed that ‘Bano Qabil 2’ will launch on August 14, with thousands of male and female students expected to enroll, and added that a large convocation is also planned for later in June mid. Speakers at the event praised Alkhidmat Foundation’s role in youth empowerment and expressed commitment to expanding such initiatives to reach even more communities across the region. Several graduates of the programme also took the stage to share their personal stories, highlighting how the training had opened new doors for them—both financially and personally.
