A man pulled out a gun during a fight in a Miami-area “business office” early Saturday morning, according to Doral police.
A fight broke out in the Martini bar, resulting in the security guard being shot and killed by a gunman. However, he was later killed by security forces in a fierce gun battle.
The event takes place Saturday at CityPlace Doral.
A man was reportedly arrested in connection with an altercation with an armed man.
A security guard at the facility intervened during the fight that led to his shooting.
“You start hearing shots. It’s not like that. It’s one after the other,” said eyewitness Peter Andres Jordan.
According to Miami-Dade Police, they responded to the incident and a gun battle. One officer was shot “in the lower leg” and seven others, including six men and one woman, were wounded.
The two occupants are listed in critical condition, and the officer is in stable condition after being shot in the leg.
