Like the rest of the country, a “Madaha Sahaba (R A) Demand Procession” was organized in Talagang district under the auspices of the Sunni Ulema Council District Talagang, which is taken out from Shell Pump to Al-Karam Plaza Talagang on the occasion of 18th Dhul Hijjah, the martyrdom day of Sayyiduna Usman Ghani (R A).The procession was led by Hazrat Allama Molana Shakeel-ur-Rehman Farooqi, accompanied by Patron Sunni Ulema Council District Talagang Malik Masood, President Sunni Ulema Council District Talagang Qari Nazir Ahmed, Ameer of Bazm Sheikh-ul-Hind Maulana Noor Muhammad Asif, Qari Muhammad Qasim, Molana Abdul Manan,Maulana Abdul Hanan, Mufti Tauqeer, Molana Ashraf, Molana Owais, Maulana Imran, Maulana Usman, Malik Zafar Moghala, President of the Talagang Traders Association, well-known political and social figure Faisal Mamdot Alvi Advocate,Citizens including Masood Kazmi, Atif Awan, Muhammad Khubaib, Bahram Jogi, Ilyas Jogi, Shahzad Kazmi, Muhammad Uzair, Muhammad Usman, Fazal Karim, Muhammad Irfan and the journalist community participated in large numbers.
The procession started at its scheduled time from Shell Pump Talagang, passed through Air Marshal Noor Khan Chowk, Traffic Chowk and ended at Al Karam Plaza Al Karam Road. Flower petals were showered at various places along the procession.The participants of the procession were carrying flags and demand placards in their hands, on which was written a demand from the authorities to declare 18th Dhul-Hijjah, the martyrdom day of Sayyiduna Usman Ghani (RA), a public holiday and to celebrate it at the official level, and that the President and Prime Minister should issue their regular messages on this occasion and pay tribute to such an eminent personality.
