Fourteen-year-old student Malaika Khalji has become the first woman from Pakistan’s Balochistan province to successfully summit Khosar Gang Peak, marking a significant milestone for mountaineering in the region.
The expedition was organized by the Alpine Club of Pakistan, which confirmed that Malaika completed the climb and reached the summit, where she unfurled Pakistan’s national flag. The achievement highlights the growing participation of young women in adventure sports and mountaineering across the country.
