SWAT: A sack-bound body of a young girl has been found on Wednesday in Koz Sherapalam area of Matta Tehsil of Swat.
She was killed brutally and the body was sealed in a sack and thrown on the side of the road.
This is the fifth incident of murder of a woman in Swat during this week. Earlier, 5 women were allegedly killed in Swat.
According to the police, the body of a nineteen-year-old woman was found in Koz Sherpalam area of Matta Tehsil of Swat. Who was brutally killed and his body was thrown in a sack on the side of the road.
According to the police report, earlier, a drug addict shot dead his thirty-six-year-old wife in Gunbadmera area of Mingora. The killer husband has not been arrested yet.
“A husband killed his Twentysix-year-old wife by cutting her throat and throwing the body down a hill in Banjot area of upper Mangalore. The police have arrested all the accused involved in the incident.
In Kabal Tehsil, the body of a young woman was found in the river at Akhun Kalay. After the post-mortem by the police, he was cremated in the official cemetery due to non-identification.”
A woman has also died mysteriously while sitting in the Kalagay area of Kabal Tehsil. On which the police have started an inquiry after the post-mortem of the woman.
Shamshir Ali, who works on women’s rights, says that serious measures need to be taken to stop the killing of women.
District Police Officer Swat Badshah Hazrat said that the police work according to the law and file a regular report of every crime and deal with the accused according to the law.
“Today’s incident has been reported and investigations are on adding that the police are acting in accordance with the law and all the requirements of justice are being met,”he said.
