LOWER DIR: Roman Khan, a young man from Talash Valley, died in a road accident. Roman Khan, a young man from a poor family from Talash Valley, started a small hotel in Kalpani Bazaar, Talash, as the sole breadwinner after the death of his father Iqbal Khan last year. Roman Khan was running a small tea and pakora hotel, which was the only income source the family. Unfortunately, Roman Khan had an accident when he was walking home on the footpath of the main road after his off from work yesterday evening and was hit by a motorcycle on the way. Despite the darkness in the evening, the motorcyclist had not turned on the light. After the motorcycle suddenly hit him, Roman Khan fell into a deep ditch on the side of the road. Due to which he suffered a severe head injury and bleeding in the brain.He wa taken to the local hospital Shamshi Khan Talaash who shifted Roman Khan to the District Headquarters Hospital Timergara. Where the doctors consulted and sent him to Peshawar. Later, Roman Khan, the owner of the hotel, succumbed to his injuries and died in a major hospital in Peshawar. After offering the funeral prayers, the young Roman Khan, son of Iqbal Khan, was laid to rest in his native village Kalpani Talash, Lower Dir, in front of thousands of tearful eyes…
