Islamabad: The nation is celebrating the 26th anniversary of Youm-e-Takbeer, which was celebrated with enthusiasm and enthusiasm to commemorate the successful nuclear test conducted by Pakistan in the Chagai Mountains.
Pakistan became the seventh nuclear weapon state and the first in the Islamic world to successfully conduct a nuclear test.
The nuclear test not only shows Pakistan’s determination to protect the country’s territorial integrity, independence and sovereignty, but also shows its desire to maintain the strategic balance in South Asia.
On the occasion of Youm-e-Takbeer, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Acting President Yusuf Raza Gilani and service leaders congratulated the nation.

Prime Minister Shehbaz congratulated the people of Pakistan and said that the day was a symbol of collective efforts from all sectors of the national government to overcome what seemed to be an insurmountable challenge and achieve a significant increase in the country’s defense capabilities.
“May 28 is not only a day to remember; It includes the description of our nation’s difficult but extraordinary journey to establish a minimum trust,” said Prime Minister X.
He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had shown brave leadership on this historic day in 1998, resisting the pressure of nerves and the desire to make Pakistan a nuclear weapon state.
“I also pay tribute to Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, the founder of Pakistan’s nuclear program, for his strategic vision and unwavering commitment to the cause,” said the Prime Minister.
