MARDAN: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Water and Sanitation Services Company Mardan (WSSCM) Shahid Khan paid a surprise visit to canal road and observe the ongoing construction of sewerage network under Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cities improvement project. He directed the project team and relevant authorities to cater the public and citizens grievances and take immediate corrective actions during the construction to mitigate the issues related to the project.
He shows his concerns on the construction material including sand and gravel laying along the roadsides of canal and ordered to lift it within 24 hours. Moreover he stressed to carry out road washing and sprinkling of roads two times a day during the construction phase of the project.
Shahid Khan stated Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM) has been set up for citizens’ complaints, ensuring that complaints is resolved immediately. He further stated that the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is trying to solve the citizen’s problems on priority basis.
