Swabi: Women University Swabi is all set to organize a four-day Sports Gala from February 18 to 21, featuring an exciting lineup of sports and cultural activities for students.
The event will begin with a grand inauguration ceremony on the first day at the university. The second day’s activities will take place at Baja Sports Complex, providing students with a unique sports experience in a professional environment. The final two days, including the closing ceremony and prize distribution, will be held at the university.
Students will compete in various sports, including cricket, volleyball, badminton, chess, and table tennis, along with indoor competitions such as painting, calligraphy, singing, drama, Neelam Ghar, Bait Bazi, and a declamation contest. To add to the excitement, food stalls will be available for participants and spectators.
The event is open to all female students of Swabi, with an affordable entry fee of just Rs. 50 per day, encouraging maximum participation.
To ensure smooth execution, the Sports Gala Incharge visited Baja Sports Complex, where Fayaz Ali Shah briefed faculty members and finalized event logistics.
Additionally, café owners and food vendors interested in setting up stalls during the gala have been invited to book their space before February 12.
This first-of-its-kind event at Women University Swabi promises to be a memorable celebration of sports, talent, and student engagement.
