SARGODHA: In accordance with the special directives of Director General (DG) Wildlife Punjab, Deputy Director (DD) Wildlife Sargodha Arooj Zaheer on Friday ordered wildlife raiding teams to conduct a raid against illegal hunters. According to the spokesman, raid teams under the supervision of wildlife inspector Syed Sajid Abbas Shah and revenue officer Shahid Hussain raided Kotmomin river area and Noor purr thal area and captured seven illegal falcon and quail hunters including Ghulam Abbas, Adnan Haider, Muhammad. Nawaz, Parvaiz Akhtar, Muhammad Imran and two others and got rare birds from them. Arooj Zaheer also released the rare birds and imposed a fine of RS 95,000 on each hunter for the violation. The Deputy Director said that crackdown on poachers will continue every day and no negligence in this regard will be tolerated.
