According to details, WhatsApp is adding a transcription feature to its platform, allowing voice notes to be converted into text.
This transcription feature offers a simple way to transform audio chats into word-for-word text notes. Users can access this feature by following just a few steps.
First, record a voice note, and WhatsApp will provide a transcription option. By clicking on it, you can download the transcribed text.
It’s important to note that the voice message must be less than 90 MB for the text to appear below the voice note. This feature will be available only on mobile phones and cannot be accessed on WhatsApp Web.
Initially, the feature will support English, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, and Hindi languages. WhatsApp has also assured that the voice notes will remain end-to-end encrypted, ensuring the security of your messages.
