ISLAMABAD: PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said that despite the clear decision of the Supreme Court, the ECP has not issued a notification confirming the PTI reserved seats. “They have had four meetings but still haven’t informed us,” he said. “We request ECP to inform about our reserved seats as soon as possible.
“The Supreme Court has said that the Election Commission cannot take such a decision against any party,” Gohar added, adding that 40 out of 41 PTI candidates had submitted affidavits to the Commission.
The chairman added that PTI had a core committee this morning and discussed the decision of the supervisory committee. “The Supreme Court has further strengthened democracy,” he said.
