It may be remembered that Angoor Ada border trade activities have been suspended for the last 6 months and the national exchequer is losing crores of rupees on a daily basis.
It is worth mentioning here that the Angoor Ada border is not officially closed and the main reason for the suspension of commercial and trade activities here is the Angoor Ada sit-in.
However, the local four tribes have been protesting their demands for five months and due to which the commercial activities have not only been suspended but also badly affected.
It should be remembered that yesterday the delegation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry met with the IGFC South regarding the problems faced at the Angoor Ada border.
IGFC assured to resolve the legitimate demands of traders.
