SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: Wana Welfare Association (WAWA) has started kitchen gardening in Zindawar School System, in Wana South Waziristan Lower District، which will fulfill the need of vegetables for home cooking.
Jalal Wazir, General Secretary of Wana Welfare Association, (WAWA) told the media that teaching staff in various private educational institutions have started training students in kitchen gardening.
Jalal Wazir said that this will not only increase the trend of healthy vegetables in the society but also will fulfill the need of home cooking vegetables.
He said that if we succeed in establishing a kitchen garden in every house and attract the community towards kitchen gardening, many economic problems of our area will be eliminated.
He said that consumption of fresh vegetables will reduce health problems and diseases.
He said that a healthy society will flourish and at the same time economic problems will also be reduced.
He appealed to all the Government and private principals of Schools, that you should talk to the students in the assembly to promote kitchen gardening in schools and enlighten them on its usefulness, so that they can be aware of them and start working on it in their homes.
He further said that all principals along with Wana Welfare Association should support this mission.
