South Waziristan: In the light of the instructions of District Police Officer (DPO) Farman Ullah Khan, the police have intensified its crackdown against vehicles with black glasses for two days.
Azamwarsak Police Station SHO Zabih Ullah Wazir removed black cloths from the windows of some Fielder cars and set its on fire on the main road.
According to reports, so far black glasses of around 50 vehicles have been cleaned at various check posts and checkpoints.
DPO Farman Ullah told Dawn that orders have been issued to all SHO,s and In-charges to clean black glasses on public complaints.
He said in which the police have started checking in a proper manner at different places of Check posts are cleaning the black glasses.
DPO said that the police have continued the crackdown in the limits of Wana City Police Station, Azamwarsak Police Station and Spin Dam Police Station.
District Police Officer Farman Ullah added that the action against black glass vehicles will continue until this scourge is eradicated.
Police sources say that this time the DPO has issued strict instructions to clean the black glasses due to which the crackdown has accelerated.
