Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Varun Dhawan and Keerti Suresh starrer Baby John. However, fans have to wait a little longer as the release of the movie is very difficult. Originally scheduled for release on May 31, Baby John has been officially delayed due to incomplete production and post-production work.
According to a report in Peeping Moon, the film needs an additional 10-12 days of shooting, despite the fact that it has been in production since August 2023 and has been filmed for more than 75 days. With this unexpected delay, the makers will now release their film in theaters in June or July 2024.
The decision to postpone Baby Joe was not taken lightly as the filmmakers aim to deliver a polished and high-quality product to the audience. With extensive post-production work ahead, it was impossible to match the original release date. However, fans can rest assured that the delay will be temporary and the team behind Baby John is working hard to make his vision a reality.
While the exact release date is yet to be decided, industry insiders are speculating that Chaga John’s much-awaited film, Kalki 2898, might hit the screens. Starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan, this sci-fi epic could fill the gap left by Baby John in the calendar.
Produced by Atlee and Priya Atlee for Apple Studios, Murad Hetani’s Cine1 Studios and Jyoti Deshpande for Jio Studios, Baby John features an ensemble cast that includes Varun Dhawan, Keerti Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi and Jackie Shroff.
