Rawalpindi: A high-level defense delegation of Uzbekistan led by the Director General of the Defense Industry Service Mr. Mansurjon Ibodullayev called the Secretary of the Ministry of Defense Lt. General Muhammad Chirag Haider. The Secretary of State for Defense Production welcomed the delegation. He appreciated the relationship between the two countries in the field of defense production.
In the meeting, both parties stressed the need to find ways of joint ventures in the field of defense production. It was also emphasized that cordial relations between the two countries will translate into active cooperation in the field of defense production. Issues of mutual interest also include visits by Uzbek experts to Pakistan’s defense manufacturing facilities.
