Muzaffarabad: Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir Chairman Uzair Ahmed Ghazali has said that the UN Security Council cannot resolve global conflicts like Palestine and Jammu and Kashmir based on its resolution.
Describing the failure of Israel to stop the worst terrorism in Palestine apart from the terrorism of the Indian state in international-occupied Kashmir, he said the illegal occupation of India in the South Asian country of Jammu-Kashmir is illegal and equal to the genocide of Palestine by Israeli forces.
“The illegal occupation of Israel and the occupation of Palestine have caused unrest, deprivation, and injustice around the world,” he said.
Ghazali said that the two major conflicts in Palestine and Jammu and Kashmir, with UN resolutions not implemented, are proof of the failure of the Security Council.
He said that for lasting peace, the world should play a brief role in the freedom of Palestine and the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
Uzair termed the Indian government’s imperialist actions in Jammu and Kashmir as the worst atrocity against humanity and said that India could not maintain its military power over the occupied country for long.
He asked the UN Security Council to implement its resolutions on Kashmir and Palestine for peace, or such delay could endanger the lives and conditions of innocent people in the region.
