Islamabad: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi emphasized on the formulation of a joint strategy to fight terrorism, which is an international phenomenon.
In an interview with British High Commissioner Jane Marriott in Islamabad today, he said that Pakistan is the only country which has made immense sacrifices in the war against terrorism.
He said that Pakistan Army and security agencies have created a story of courage and bravery in this war. He said terrorists will not be allowed to disrupt law and order.
The interior minister said that Pakistan attaches great importance to its long-standing ties with Britain.
He said that the role of the Pakistani community in Britain in the development of both countries is commendable. He emphasized the need to exchange delegations to promote bilateral relations.
The Home Secretary said that all possible steps are being taken to prevent human trafficking. Both sides agreed to strengthen cooperation in various fields.
They also discussed the cricket series between Pakistan and England. The British High Commissioner expressed his wish to promote cooperation with Pakistan in various fields.
