LAHORE: United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ambassador to Pakistan Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Al Zaabi called on Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and PML-N President Nawaz Sharif on Thursday.
Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz praised the UAE government for announcing investment in Pakistan.
They thanked the representative of the UAE for the announcement of $ 10 billion investment in Pakistan.
The meeting discussed bilateral relations and cooperation in the fields of agricultural research, technology and trade.
“We have a relationship of mutual respect and trust with the UAE,” Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz said.
Many issues including food security, animal husbandry and milk production, textile and pharmaceutical industries were discussed in the meeting.
Nawaz Sharif also said, “Pakistan and UAE have brotherly relations.”
