SWAT: At least two cousins were died and the driver was seriously injured when a Datsun pickup fell off a bridge at Nawagai area of Barikot Tehsil in Swat district. According to SDPO Barikot Circle Muhammad Anwar, the Datsun pickup was going from Makad area of Charbagh Tehsil to Buner district when the driver lost control of the vehicle due to high speed at Nawagai area of Barikot Tehsil and fell off a bridge.
As a result, two people in the pickup, Rahim Zada son of Kaki and Naik Zada son of Bakht Zada, residents of Makad Charbagh, died on the spot while the driver, Muhammad Islam, was seriously injured.
Locals, with the help of police, removed the bodies and the injured and shifted them to Barikot Hospital.
