KHYBER: The tribesmen of Koki Khel put the body of a tribal on road in protest who had been allegedly shot and dead by a Frontier Corp (FC) soldier here in Tor Darra, Rajgal area of Tirah Valley district Khyber last day.
Led by Malik Naseer Ahmad Koki Khel, a large number of Koki Khel carrying the coffin of the deceased, Tila Akbar Afridi suspended the Pak-Afghan highway at Bab-e-Khyber by putting the dead body on it.
The protestors chanted slogans against the cold murder of a local tribal and said until they get justice they will not give up their protest.
Addressing to the angry mob Malik Naseer Ahmad Koki Khel,Ex-Parliamentarian Iqbal Afrid,Khan Wali,tehsil chairman Said Nawab and others condemned the killing of an innocent tribesman and said blood of tribal people was much cheaper than water.

Anti-tribesmen attitude and irresponsible practices of the troops in the tribal region had earned a bad name for the forces, they added and said blood and honor of tribesmen was as sacred as citizens of the down towns.
They asked the forces and other concerned authorities to file First Information Report (FIR) against the accused and demanded his court martial besides granting of Shaheed package to the late Tila Akbar Afridi in addition with compromising of provision of government job to a child of the deceased a the killed person was the lonely source of income for the family.
They also insisted on abolishing unnecessary security forces checkpoints in the area that had multiplied their miseries.
Malik Naseer threatened that until fulfilling the above mentioned terms they would not renounce their agitation.
