Ten people, including women and children, were on their way to attend a wedding from Krapat Nahag Darra to Swat via the mountainous route when they reached the top of the mountain due to the heavy rain and extreme cold, two children died on the spot, and a woman was left unconscious.
Local police and BD representatives said that the group of ten people, including women, children, and men, from the same family were traveling from Krapat to Swat hit by the storm. As a result, two minor children, Javeria daughter of Muhammad Rasool, and Arzo daughter of Khayasta Rahman, died on the spot, while the wife of Muhammad Rasool was taken to Wari Hospital in an unconscious state.” Local police said.
