Using 3D-printed skull-shaped tools, experts created the world-famous Aztec death shriek, said to be the most terrifying in human history.
According to a report by Metro UK, it is used in spiritual ceremonies.
At the end of the 20th century, scientists used fragments found in Mexico to construct a skull.
James Orgill, a YouTuber who produces science-based videos, pointed out: “This has been considered the scariest sound in the world. The sound of death strikes fear into your heart.”
“At first the archaeologists thought it was some kind of toy and they didn’t think about it,” Orgill said.
“Somehow, 15 years later, a scientist entered the hole on top of it and this sound came out. This is an interesting discovery because it sounds like a man screaming.”
One belief is that the Aztecs used it to help bring the soul to the afterlife after sacrifice, while others claim that it was used to scare the enemy.
