Taxila: Thanks to the mediation efforts of Mukhtar Ajmal Bhatti, a High Court advocate, a 19-year-old girl has been reunited with her biological father, Saleem Akhtar, with the consent of her mother and uncle. This development comes 15 years after the girl’s parents separated in 2009, and she was placed in her mother’s custody by the court.
The girl’s mother has demonstrated remarkable generosity and goodwill by allowing her daughter to live with her biological father, as per the girl’s wishes. A written agreement has also been signed, stating that the mother will not claim any expenses related to the girl’s upbringing and care.
Mukhtar Ajmal Bhatti, along with Altaf Hussain and Aziz Khan, both High Court advocates, played a crucial role in mediating the dispute and bringing the parties to a mutually acceptable agreement. The girl’s uncle, Muhammad Ali, also deserves praise for his positive and supportive attitude throughout the process.
The advocates’ efforts have been widely appreciated by civil society and the public, who have commended their role in resolving the dispute amicably.
