Washington: The US auto industry’s safety regulator said it would investigate whether Tesla’s recall of more than two million vehicles in December was sufficient.
The move comes after several recent car accidents.

NHTSA announced that it was “initiating an investigation in response to concerns related to the crash incident and NHTSA’s preliminary test results of the repaired vehicle.”
According to the agency, Tesla has not updated any software to address the issues that pose an unreasonable security risk.
