TALASH: Two children drowned while bathing in the rainy river (Khwar), one died while the other was admitted to the hospital in critical condition.
In the famous Barsati Khwar of Talash, two boys from a near village Khat Kalay Talash, Rehan son of Amjad aged 11 years and Abu Bakr son of Ismail aged 10 years, drowned in a deep pool of water while bathing to reduce the intensity of the heat. Rehan son of Amjad died on the spot, while the other companion, Abu Bakr son of Ismail, was rushed to Shamshi Khan Talash hospital in a very serious condition by local people, from where he was admitted to the intensive care ward after being referred to the district headquarters hospital, Timergara. Both the boys are cousins. Both boys belong to the poor Degmar family. Both children went to school on Fridays. And after returning from school, they also went to religious schools.They had gone to take a bath. Later, at sunset, the local people came to know that two children had drowned in the rainwater. After that, the news spread like wildfire throughout the area. All eyes were tearful on the sudden death of the children.Later, Rehan son of Amjad was buried in the ancestral cemetery, while Abu Bakr son of Ismail is admitted in a very serious condition in the district headquarters hospital in Timergara. …
