SWAT: A 22-year-old athlete Amir Khan, from Swat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has made Pakistan famous by defeating three countries, including India, in the International Taekwondo Championship at Bangkok in Thailand.
“At least 3000 athletes from 30 countries participated in the seventh Heroes Taekwondo International Championship in Bangkok, Thailand.”
A twenty-two-year-old Aamir Khan, a young athlete from Mingora, the main city of Swat district, participated in his group, by defeating India in the first competition, Philippines in the second and Japan in the final competition, he won the gold medal and made Pakistan famous.
“Aamir Khan has participated in various international and national competitions before and has won many honors by demonstrating his skills”.
He participated in the competitions held in Thailand under his help and won the gold medal by defeating the big trained athletes.
Aamir Khan said in one of his messages from Thailand that this moment is a source of happiness for me that I have made the name of my country Pakistan bright by defeating three athletes from big countries.
Aamir Khan said that we participate in the competitions of foreign countries by preparing under our help, but unfortunately they are not supported by the government.
He also expressed his happiness on the great success of Pakistani player Arshad Nadeem in the Olympic competitions and complained that in Punjab the players are supported, but it is sad to say that our KPK players do not get any support and we ourselves and the locals are forced to do everything.
Aamir khan said that I announce this honor to the people of Swat.
