SWAT: The daughter of Swat and educationist Huma Shakir has been honored with the “Women Changing the World Award” by the British organization for her efforts towards women’s education and empowerment
“Huma Shakir was nominated for this global award in April 2024.”
Huma Shakir has won this award on the basis of best services and has been ranked second in the entire world.
This honor has been given to her in the “Gender Equality” category of “People’s Choice Women 2024”.
The award is presented by Sarah Duchess of York, Peace and Katie and Dr Terraria Trent.
Huma Shakir has called this award a great honor for Swat and said that since women are still facing difficulties in the journey of education in many areas of the upper areas of Swat district, added that I want to name this award in the name of these girls, who are facing difficulty in acquiring knowledge.
She said that getting this honor has boosted her motivation and she will now work for the education and welfare of women with renewed determination.
