The Anti-Vehicle Lifting Cell (AVLC) in Karachi arrested a suspect who stole his friend’s car using a duplicate key. According to police officials, AVLC Gadap conducted an operation and apprehended the suspect, Abbas, who had stolen the car by making a duplicate key. The stolen vehicle was recovered from the suspect’s possession.
Authorities revealed that the suspect sent the stolen car to Jacobabad and demanded 550,000 rupees from his friend to return it. The case was registered on October 29, 2024, at the Sachal police station. The suspect was arrested based on CCTV footage, technical evidence, and secret information.
