Sumbal Police Crack Down on Dens of Immorality in Sector 12

Islamabad: Police conducted a major operation against dens of immorality within the jurisdiction of Sumbal police station, arresting a large number of boys and girls involved in unethical activities. Civil society has praised the actions taken by the Sumbal police station.

Details reveal that on the instructions of IG Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi and DIG Operations Syed Ali, SHO Asif of Sumbal police station, along with a heavy police contingent, carried out an operation against individuals involved in illegal activities in the Sumbal police station’s jurisdiction in Mira Abadi, Street No. 5, Sector 12.

In Street No. 5, Sector 12-G, according to the residents, women in semi-nude conditions were openly engaging in immoral acts, disturbing public sentiments in the market. Local residents further stated that some women had collectively established dens of immorality in the neighborhood, where illicit activities occurred around the clock.

Criminal elements frequented these places to commit illegal acts, and if local residents tried to intervene, they were subjected to severe threats. Customers of these women traveled from far-off areas at all hours of the day and night, causing extreme distress to the entire community.

Community members also revealed that there were multiple such dens in the neighborhood, where suspicious activity persisted day and night. Criminals would also use these locations to stay overnight, engaging in thefts and robberies in the area.

Following the raid on the den of immorality in Mira Abadi, Street No. 5, Sector 12, the police have begun compiling a list of other such places operating in the jurisdiction of the Sumbal police station. The crackdown on illegal and unethical activities has created panic among criminal elements, spreading fear and anxiety within their circles.

On the other hand, civil society has widely appreciated the efforts of the Sumbal police station.
