A dangerous incident occurred in the Indian state of Haryana when a group of students planted a bomb under their female teacher’s chair and detonated it.
According to reports from Indian media, this incident involved 12th-grade students who placed a firecracker-like device under their science teacher’s chair.
As reported by the Hindustan Times, the students, allegedly upset after being scolded by the teacher, used YouTube to learn how to make an explosive device. After learning the method, they installed the device under the chair and detonated it remotely.
Fortunately, the teacher was unharmed in the explosion, but the students’ actions have raised several questions.
According to Indian media, Haryana’s Department of Education took strict action and suspended the 13 students involved for one week.
This incident has raised concerns about the misuse of online platforms and the safety of teachers in schools.
