The National Headquarters provided all necessary assistance to the Balochistan branch during the devastating floods of 2022.
PRCS Chairman Sardar Shahid Ahmed Laghari shared these views during a meeting with the newly appointed Chairman of the Balochistan branch, Abdul Wali Khan Ghibzai who visited the PRCS National Headquarters on Friday.
Sardar Shahid Ahmed Laghari praised Abdul Wali Khan Ghibzai ‘s appointment as a positive step for the Red Crescent Balochistan branch, emphasizing that no effort will be spared in serving the disaster-affected people of Balochistan. He assured that the National Headquarters would provide all necessary technical support to the branch.
Abdul Wali Khan Ghibzai acknowledged that under Sardar Shahid Ahmed Laghari’s leadership, PRCS has achieved significant milestones. Many initiatives have been launched to advance humanitarian efforts.
The financial aid provided to the flood affected families of Gwadar will be remembered as a historic gesture. He noted that PRCS’s visionary leadership has earned international recognition, which is a source of pride for all. He emphasized that the National Headquarters serves as a beacon of hope for the branch.
At the conclusion of the meeting, PRCS Chairman Sardar Shahid Ahmed Laghari presented a souvenir to Abdul Wali Khan Ghibzai, the newly appointed Chairman of the PRCS Balochistan branch.
