UPPER DIR: Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University Sheringal has denied rumors of its merger with another university due to financial difficulties. The university spokesperson clarified that the university has approved a new project worth Rs 540 million and has also approved a budget of Rs 685 million for the fiscal year 2024-25.
The spokesperson added that the university has overcome its financial crises and has closed the financial year 2023-24 with a surplus.The university is progressing under the patronage of Vice chancellor Dr Shahab and Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Syed Abdul Khaleeq Jan and has also approved a budget for the next fiscal year. The spokesperson termed the rumors of the university’s merger as baseless and malicious.
