MURREE: A local court acquitted former interior minister Sheikh Rashid of meddling in government affairs on Tuesday.
The case was heard by Justice Muhammad Zeeshan.
Sheikh Rashid faced charges of interfering with government duties, holding policemen hostage and tearing uniforms in Murree. Sardar Abdul Razzaq Advocate and Majid Noor Advocate represented Sheikh Rashid.
After the arguments, the court honorably acquitted Sheikh Rašíd.
