MAKKAH: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and discussed bilateral relations and issues of interest with him on Sunday, the Prime Minister’s Press Wing and Saudi media reported.
The crown prince arrived in Mecca from Jeddah on Saturday to spend the rest of the holy month of Ramadan near the Grand Mosque, where he held meetings with world leaders including Bahrain’s Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud. Muhammad.
On Sunday, Prince Mohammed Bin Salman welcomed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his delegation to the Al-Safa Palace in Mecca for an iftar meeting, Saudi media reported. According to a Saudi Arabian newspaper, Prince Salman of Bahrain also attended the iftar.
According to the Saudi Press Service (SPA), Prince Mohammed Bin Salman received Prime Minister Shehbaz Sherif at Al-Safa Palace in the presence of Bahrain’s Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
In a statement, the Prime Minister said that after the Iftar meal, the Prime Minister and the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia attended a one-on-one meeting. The Prime Minister also conveyed Shahbaz’s best wishes for the health and well-being of King Salman of the Two Holy Mosques.
The Prime Minister thanked him and the Saudi authorities for the warm welcome he received. The two leaders appreciated the high profile of their longstanding brotherly ties and reaffirmed their common resolve to strengthen bilateral ties.
