UPPER DIR: The district administration of Upper Dir, in collaboration with the administration of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University Sheringal, organized a seminar on drug awareness at the university. The purpose of the seminar was to raise awareness among students about the causes, effects, and preventive measures of drug abuse in society.
The seminar was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Upper Dir, Jawad Ali, Assistant Commissioner Sheringal, Muhammad Bilal Naseer, Additional Assistant Commissioner Sheringal, Aamir Shehzad Khattak, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Sheringal, professors from various departments of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University Sheringal, local elders, and students.
During the seminar, Additional Deputy Commissioner Upper Dir, Jawad Ali, informed the participants about the dangers of drug use and its consequences, encouraging them to make informed decisions and avoid drugs. He also emphasized the importance of promoting a healthy lifestyle and well-being.
Assistant Commissioner Sheringal, Muhammad Bilal Naseer, fully informed the participants about the use and effects of drugs during the seminar, increasing their awareness and knowledge so that they can better understand the harms of drugs. Furthermore, the participants were told how to avoid the dangers of drugs and how to reduce the risk through increased awareness.
