Once a vulture and a falcon flew together high. Both started floating in the air at high altitude. The two looked to be the same while floating. Intoxicated by their heights, unconnected to the ground, unaware of the sky, just busy flying.
The onlookers were very surprised that these two were not of the same nature, how did they fly together? The falcon said to the vulture, “Look, there is nothing worth considering in this world except the desire to fly.” The vulture also said with concern, “Yes, I also love flying, I also got wings for flying high.”
But after a few moments, the vulture looked down. He saw a dead horse lying at a long distance. He said to the falcon, “Your high flight and high vision go to hell, my destination is calling me.”
Saying this, the vulture made a long dive and landed on its dead destination. Nature of the two was different, hence their destination was also different.
If the persons traveling together have diverse natures, then they will never reach their destination together.
Observing the humans carefully, it will not be difficult to recognize that nature keeps expressing itself. A scoundrel is a swindler, regardless of his position or status. Renowned poet Mian Muhammad Bakhsh (may Allah have mercy on him) in famous poem had said:
“Neech di aashnai kolon faiz kisey naen paya
Keekar te angoor charhaya her guchha zakhmaya”
(The friendship of a swindler never bears any fruit, just as taking pile of grapes on an acacia tree results in damaging every bunch.)
