Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Omar Ayub said on Thursday that he sees the fall of the government and elections this year.
The PTI leader said, “the wind is changing direction, but it still needs to be changed completely.”
“This is a compromise government that doesn’t trust anyone or take firm decisions,” said the opposition leader in the National Assembly.
Omar Ayub demanded immediate fresh elections, a level playing field and withdrawal of cases against PTI leaders.
“Nobody has talked to our committee, or we don’t really care.”
“Either the PML-N will stab us or shoot us,” Omar Ayub told a senior People’s Party leader.
“This government has failed to manage and will collapse,” he said. “Government Days Are Numbered”. “They are delaying the budget date.”
Opposition leaders said the HPG had instructed them to discuss the budget issue with the opposition, but had not done so.
“If they reverse our mandate and withdraw the case against us, new elections can be avoided,” the PTI leader said.
“If the bail is revoked, we will face court proceedings and imprisonment,” he said.
